So much has happened in 2026!
Tamai has been based in Zimbabwe since 4 February, mainly at the Chimanimani property where we are building John Heaton School (JHS) and its kindergarten. It was a tough year for her, with no electricity (let alone air conditioning and heating) and little accessible water and network. Despite this, she progressed the construction of the school to completing all foundations and nearly finishing the kindergarten.
Adam, in the meantime, was in Australia, working to fund the project. He travelled to Zimbabwe for 4 weeks in September, where he spent quality time with Tamai and together they completed the final push roofing, plastering and flooring the kindergarten. They opened it after furnishing it with tables and chairs, posters, learning materials and toys.
We thank God for the doors He has opened. The local council, village chiefs and the Ministry of Education have been most supportive and thrilled with the kindergarten. More than 40 children have enrolled, and they are progressively starting to attend over the coming 2-3 months.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported us, whether with funds or prayer.
