A 1000 KM WALK IN 8 WEEKS (20 KM PER DAY) TO HELP CHILDREN IN ZIMBABWE
John Heaton Christian Academy (JHCA), named after Adam’s father who was a Christ-led high school teacher, is be being in close proximity to 100’s of children and youth in Chimanimani who currently walk over 20km a day to and from the next closest school.
If they can afford to attend, that is, with many not being able to when unable to pay school fees.
Not only will JHCA provide accessible, quality Christian education, but reduce or waive fees via scholarships, so all can attend.
Throughout 2026, Tamai has been in Chimanimani, Zimbabwe, to project manage the build while Adam works in Australia to fund its progress.
They need your help to complete the build and open the Early Childhood Development (ECD) or kindergarten component of the school by January 2027.
To raise the required funds, Adam is walking 1000 kilometres in 8 weeks - about 20 kilometres per day, commencing from 26 July 2026.
Whether it be through a prayer or a donation of $10, $100 or more, please consider contributing to building God’s kingdom and extending a hand to children and families in need.
Thank you
